Getting a tattoo is a big decision. Presumably, what you get tattooed on your body is going to be there forever. Because of that fact, tattoos are a huge commitment. If you plan on getting a tattoo, you'll have to spend time planning it, you need to go through the pain of getting it, and finally you will need to take care of the tattooed area afterwards to make sure it doesn't bleed or get ruined.
Sometimes, though, despite all of this planning, people regret what they put on their bodies. There is only one way to fix it that doesn't involve lasering it off, and that is getting it covered up with another tattoo. Here are some of the funniest and clever tattoo cover-ups we've seen.

This just goes to show that nothing is permanent. You can basically cover any tattoo up that you want. Unless, that is, you've got a ton of face tattoos. That might be harder to hide than just a former lover's name.
