This Bullied Girl Stunned The Judges As Soon As She Opened Her Mouth

Lucy Kay was four years old when her parents split up. At this age, she moved to a different town, which was the beginning of years of abuse, both verbal and physical, at the hands of school bullies. The torment of being bullied for most of her life stuck with Lucy, making her quite nervous in public. However, when the 24-year-old opera singer stepped onto the stage of Britain's Got Talent and told her story, her bravery shined through as she found her calling.

After her incredible performance of Puccini's "Vissi d'arte," Lucy received a standing ovation from the judging panel and audience, with Simon Cowell calling it "extraordinary."

She has such a beautiful voice with so much feeling behind it. Lucy can really hold her head up high after that. Not only is she extremely talented, but she's incredibly beautiful, too.

After this episode aired, Lucy continued to wow throughout the whole series and eventually became runner up, narrowly losing to Collabro, a boy band. Regardless, she has a bring future ahead of her.
